Algebra A

Welcome to Algebra A!! I am excited to have you all in my class this school year. This Algebra A class will be the first part of your Algebra career. This class will help you complete one of the Math credits you need to graduate. The course will also begin preparing you for the Common Core Algebra Regents Exam you will be taking next year. The ninth grade algebra curriculum is based on the frameworks designed by the New York Department of Education. In this class, students will focus on learning various skills needed to be successful in Algebra. Every effort will be made to provide hands-on opportunities, integrate technology, differentiate instruction, and present lessons in a variety of formats to suit all learning styles.
 
 
To the right you will find various links that can help you practice and review numerous topics we will cover throughout the year. This webpage will mainly be used as a resource for you. Please check back often, as I will be updating this page continuously. 
 
 

Geometry

Welcome to Geometry!! I am excited to have you all in my class this school year. This course will help you complete another Math credit that  you need to graduate. The class will also prepare you to take the Common Core Geometry Regents Exam. The geometry curriculum is based on the frameworks designed by the New York Department of Education. In this class, students will focus on learning the Common Core Geometry standards. This year we will be using the modules and topics provided by the state. Some topics we will focus on throughout the year are: congruence, similarity, right triangles, trigonometry, circle, and more. Every effort will be made to provide hands-on opportunities, integrate technology, differentiate instruction, and present lessons in a variety of formats to suit all learning styles.
