Breakfast and Lunch for Students during School Closures-Updated April 1-Click for more details

Beginning on Monday, April 6, 2020 and continuing thereafter, we will be changing our school meal days and locations. As the mandatory school closure continues and the pandemic COVID-19 risks increase, we have decided to take measures to reduce potential exposure for our staff and our families. Every week we will limit pick-up stations and delivery to Mondays and Thursdays. On Mondays, we will provide three days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches, and on Thursdays two breakfasts and two lunches per child. Deliveries will be handled the same way, also on Mondays and Thursdays. At the same time, we will discontinue the pick-up location at the Jr-Sr High School, due to low participation. Anyone who had been getting meals there is welcome to pick up at the former Otego Elementary School or at the Unatego Elementary School in Unadilla from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays, or can request that meals be delivered to their homes by calling the District Office at 607-988-5038.

If you haven’t been participating, we remind you that all children 18 years of age or younger are eligible to participate in the school breakfast and lunch program, regardless of income; they don’t even need to be Unatego students—all are welcome!

Thank you!
